SuperStars of Central Florida, LLC Presents

“2010 SuperStars of Central Florida
Talent Competition AUDITIONS”

SuperStars of Central Florida is a talent competition open to
Students between the ages of twelve (12) and eighteen (18),
and Adults nineteen years or of age or older (19+).

Participants may compete in voice, dance, drama, or instrumental music, and may audition as soloists or as an ensemble.  There will be cash prizes or equivalent audio or video studio time awarded for First, Second, and Third Place Winners in both the Student and Adult competitions, as well as scholarship resources.

SuperStars of Central Florida AUDITIONS for Students ages 12-18 will be held on September 11th at South Beach Dance Academy, located at 129 N. Palmetto Ave, Daytona Beach, Florida.

SuperStars of Central Florida AUDITIONS for Adults ages 19+
will be held on September 25th at South Beach Dance Academy, located at 129 N. Palmetto Ave, Daytona Beach, Florida.

Any display of poor sportsmanship and/or unbecoming conduct, interference, disturbance or inappropriate behavior created by contestants, parents, chaperones or supporters of the contestant(s) will result in the immediate disqualification of the contestant(s).

First Place Winner
$2,000 or 25 hours of recording studio time
with a professional producer as a consultant.

Second Place Winner
$1,500 or 15 hours in a multi-track recording studio time
with a professional producer as a consultant.

Third Place Winner
$500 or 10 hours in a multi-track recording studio time
with a professional producer as a consultant.

Important:
If winner(s) chooses the recording studio time as the prize,
the project must begin within 3 months from the date of the finals.

If winner(s) is in dance or dramatic arts, the prize
will be a professional photo or video session.

There will be two qualified celebrity judges for each performing arts area.  Judges for the auditions will come from the collegiate, professional and artistic communities.  Judges' scores are confidential. All acts will be judged on talent, stage presentation, appearance, preparedness, overall entertainment value and appeal.
Judges' final decisions will serve as tie-breakers using these criteria.

• A piano will be provided for accompaniment or a CD player
  may be used.

• Ensembles cannot exceed 26 members.

• Bands must bring their own equipment.

• Sufficient time will be allowed for set up.

• A PA will be provided, if necessary, for vocalists.

The audition fee is $20.00 per soloist or $40.00 per ensemble.
If recommended by a Performing Arts instructor, needs-based assistance is available for the audition fee.
